Sigsiu Online Business Index 2 (SOBI2) Country List CSV Value

Sigsiu Online Business Index 2 / SOBI2 is Joomla Online Business Directory / Listing Component. This Joomla component not only useful for created business listing / directory, but can also created for download index, online library, and more others listing directory.

By default, in field_country at custom field manager, the option to fill country is input form field. This is mean the submitter must manually typing their country when submitting.

Beside not practical, manual typing for country can caused mistype or can be using for fraudulent purpose. So we must change the input form into drop down / select list.

1. Change the field type input into select list (see image below)

2. Then click Add CSV Value List at the bottom (see image below)

3. Copy and paste the 248 country list that csv formed from file countrylist.txt that you can download here (see image below)

4. Save the field configuration (see image below)

5. Then test submitting, you can found that country option now in drop down field (see image below)

6. Alse in backend, the country list in field_country has converted into “Pair of variates” (see images below)

    I think thats impossible to create on currently SOBI2 version backend. need some hack for do that.
